Newly Published Simulation Articles

Here's some great simulation literature. 2 nursing journals have recently dedicated an entire issue to simulation in nursing education.

The Journal of Nursing Education dedicated their entire Nov 2008 edition to simulation. The first article is Creating a Nursing Simulation Laboratory: A Literature Review. I will be using this information and encourage those getting started to read this article to help you design your simulation lab - along with the rest of the journal of course.

The National League of Nursing also just published all simulation articles in their March/April 2009 journal Nursing Education Perspectives.

I would like to share another site as a resource. www.nursingsimulation.org which is the home site of The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL). The journal for this group is not indexed yet, so joining the group to get to the articles is what I did. There are some great articles!!
